Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a multiworld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Ingame Settings

Game Difficulaty

Set the ingame difficulty for all missions: - Casual: Unlimited saves, All Mission Story guides available, No surveillance cameras, Less enforcers, Forgiving combat, More items are legal to carry, NPCs are less attentive to sounds. - Professional: Unlimited saves, All Mission Story guides available, Surveillance cameras active, Cameras alert guards if illegal activity is spotted, Combat is challenging but fair. - Master: One save per mission, No Mission Story guides available, Extra surveillance cameras, Extra enforcers, Ruthless and demanding combat, Bloody eliminations ruin disguises, NPCs are more attentive to sounds.

Random Targets

Should random Targets be assigend to each Level. For each level, a random number of targets between min_number_of_targets and max_number_of_targets is choosen. If off, the vanilla targets will be chosen (Note: Carpathian Mountains will always remain vanilla.)

Random Complications

Complication Weights

When Random Complications is active, these weights determine the odds for each complication to be selected. If you don't want a specific complication, set its weight to 0.
This option needs to be configured manually in the YAML file.
Level Settings

Included Hitman 1 Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 1 Levels in the Location Pool valid options: ica_facility, paris, sapienza, marrakesh, bangkok, colorado, hokkaido

Included Hitman 2 Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 2 Levels in the Location Pool valid options: hawkes_bay, miami, santa_fortuna, mumbai, whittleton_creek, isle_of_sgail

Included Hitman 2 DLC Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 2 Expansion Levels in the Location Pool valid options: new_york, haven_island

Included Hitman 3 Levels

Include Locations from the following Hitman 3 Levels in the Location Pool valid options: dubai, dartmoor, berlin, chongqing, mendoza, carpathian_mountains, ambrose_island

Starting Level

Which level is unlocked from the start. If the selected level is not included in the "included_x_locations"options, it will be added to it.
